Race 2: Saunders Beach Paddle – North Queensland Games
A great event resurrected for the North Queensland Games in Townsville, 2020.
The long course starts from Freemasons Park in Pallarenda. From there you head out to sea and around Bay Rock, to the north of Magnetic Island. Around the rock and head west to Saunders Beach to finish along what should be a great downwind run.

Course Description:
This is a sweet ocean paddle with a potentially great downwind leg to Saunders if wind cooperates. Nothing too difficult or complex, just get into gear and paddle while enjoying some of regions best scenery.
